Pressemitteilung zur InnovationNORD Gear has enhanced its compact of UNICASE geared motors through design improvements. The new NORDBLOC gearbox design is based on aluminium diecast housings, which have been optimized through FEM calculations. Thís allows for the integration of larger and stronger bearings, which results in a higher capacity for overhung and thrust loads or a longer bearing lifetime. Moreover, the drive units can now be installed more efficiently. This is instantly recognizable: the housings no longer come with sealing caps, as assembly is now possible without the openings which were necessary before. The new NORDBLOC generation consists of seven two- or three-stage gearbox sizes which are already available or will be introduced shortly. New advantages have been added to the proven UNICASE features: just like theis predecessor models, the units allow for direct and cost-efficient motor mounting, but now also enable the attachment of very short, space-saving lightweight IEC adapters. Fitting dimensions, however, have stayed the same, which means that the new units can easily replace old models. NORDBLOC geared motors are suitable for rugged enviroments and demanding applications. Theis housings can be ventiled in all mounting positions. Moreover, all types are also available as ATEX models for hazardous environments. Thanks to their aluminium surfaces, the new NORDBLOC systems have a robust, natural corrosion protection which renders a paint finish unnecessary. Additionally, painted versions are available by request. The geared motors are available with a foot or flange mount or with a combination of the two. Möchten Sie eine eigene Innovation präsentieren?
