The set-up of the engine was carried out on a test bench where one of the important parts is the TOK coupling system by REICH-KUPPLUNGEN.

More than 550 km/h on a motorcycle! With this speed Chris Carr piloted a streamliner vehicle on the Bonneville salt flats. REICH-KUPPLUNGEN which were founded over 60 years ago in Bochum plays a significant role in the success of this record.
The set-up of the engine for that “racing cigarre”  - as it is announced at company REICH-KUPPLUNGEN – was carried out on a test bench where one of the important parts is the TOK coupling system by REICH-KUPPLUNGEN.
About 100 employees of REICH-KUPPLUNGEN develop, design and produce different coupling types for the whole field of mechanical engineering as well as for special applications.
One highlight is the TOK coupling system for use in developmental and serial test benches. The success of these couplings in the field of engine testing is amongst others based on the own rubber element production. REICH-KUPPLUNGEN realizes all steps of the production in-house starting with the raw material mixture up to the ready made elastomer and its test. The combination of know-how, technic and quality is on such a level which is hard to compete. Similar to the record realized by the team of Chriss Carr.
